Guiseppe Licari

Giuseppe Licari was born in Erice, Sicily, in 1980. He uses different materials with particular reference to nature and in relation to the built and urban environment. The public, invited to participate, share, experience and interact, creating a collective memory, is the engine of his artworks.
His installactions are an open-‐ended process of exploration of human perception and how it can be triggered through discrete or bold interventions, connected to site and time specific experiences.
He studied Painting at the Academy of fine Arts in Bologna, and Monumental Art at AKI Enschede, The
Netherlands. Since 2007 he lives and works in Rotterdam.
